Simply follow the boards that interest you to get that board's content in your Home feed and to participate in discussions.

Komodo’s Community Portal can be thought of as a forum, with no rigid structure. You can post text or images and you can add topics or tag people in those posts, just as you would on social media platforms. 

When you want to make a post of your own, navigate to the board where you think the content fits best, and fire away! Note that you always have to post new content through a board, but you can comment on existing posts through your feed.

Post Types

There are four different types of posts. Three of them are available for everyone and the fourth one is for official updates from team members.

  1. Discussion – share your thoughts in a long-form post with text formatting options
  2. Question – the name says it all; anyone from the community can answer or upvote the best answers
  3. Official News – only available to team members and ecosystem project leads
Tip: You can navigate to a specific board or topic and then filter the content so that you only see the official project updates. This makes it easy to follow news and development specific to Komodo.
