As we wrap up another week, let’s take a look back at what happened in the last seven days.
We carefully evaluated the current situation around the COVID-19 epidemic, and considering the scale of damage it is causing around the world, we decided to postpone the proposal deadline and the election end-date by 4 weeks.
The new deadline to submit proposals is April 13, 12:00 UTC. You can see the whole extended timeline including the airdrop date and the end-date for the elections on our GitHub.
We will reassess the situation 14 days from now and we will keep you updated on the chances.
Running a Notary Node is a complex task and we believe this time can now be better used for preparation for the pandemic and taking care of your loved ones. Stay safe, everyone.
CoinTelegraph has published a profile about Komodo CTO Kadan Stadelmann. It is a very personal story about finding meaning in mathematics and computing after a tragic loss, giving up a secure government job in cybersecurity for an uncertain career in blockchain, and his grand vision about Komodo.
It is a fantastic read for the weekend.
We’ve published dozens (!) of articles this week in our Blockchain Fundamentals series.
We cover a wide range of topics from different hash transactions, Bitcoin Script, Non-Fungible Tokens, and the state of DeFi.
We are committed to building the industry’s best knowledge base at Komodo. Let us know if you find the articles interesting!
We’ve also published a new explainer video in our “whiteboard series” this week. We talk about Antara Modules, how do they work, why are they powerful, and how they are different from smart contracts on other platforms. It is a topic not very easy to understand, so we featured Elon Musk and Bruce Willis in the video to make it more digestible :)
