There was a feature called 0-conf in the first AtomicDEX API implementation. People could lock KMD as a collateral, locked KMD still accrued rewards if I recall correctly and it was possible to make fast atomic swaps this way. Everything looked peachy: KMD has another use case, supply becomes more scarse, price (hypothetically) goes up and BOTS asset would even get some income.
Why didn't this feature make its way to mm2?
Is it still a plan to add it later? Or does it make KMD a security or something? Or what?

Interesting that you asked as I had just asked a very similar question from our team. I would like to see the 'lock KMD' feature re-implemented as well in one way or another.
